7TH STREET BAND

Berkeley’s 7th Street Band has made its name backing some of the greats and new voices of reggae.  While 7th Street Band has been hitting West Coast stages for over a decade, drummer Edi Arnold and keyboardist Benjamin Goff, friends since high school, have played together since 1992. Edi, as founding member and Ben, as his right hand man have been the foundation and executive producers of all 7th Street works. 7th Street Band has been called one of the Bay Area’s best-kept musical secrets and has backed many top touring Reggae vocalists, including Sanchez, Gappy Ranks, Glenn Washington, Konshens, Warrior King, Marlon Asher, Louie Culture and Million Stylez.

ARKAINGELLE
Uniting an Afro-Caribbean perspective with the ever strengthening, pro-African voice of Ras Tafari, Arkaingelle’s blazing vocals and meditative lyrics have been resounding thunderously within the cultural reggae scene from Brazil to Britain, South Africa to South America and from the East Coast to the West Coast of the United States. Arkaingelle delivers heavyweight roots music with a spiritual message and an energetic frequency which when combined, have been seen to captivate, uplift, inspire and bring joy to a broad diversity of audiences.

BINGHI GHOST

With catchy hooks, solid melodies and key overdubs, St. Croix’s Binghi Ghost creates a fresh musical flavor based on a reggae roots vibe sharpened by the edge of hardcore dancehall. Deftly alternating between Jamaican dancehall, VI roots and American Hip Hop, Binghi Ghost is a true Sing-jay, hailing from the U.S. Virgin Island of St. Croix.

‘California eagerly welcomes the new soul-reggae trio ‘SANTA CRUDA.’  Where Bruno Proal & Nick Disalvo from Thrive & Soulwise combine powers with Santa Cruz’s gem Shawn Yanez to deliver the sweet sounds of feel good music. Playing original music to covers from Sublime, Bob Marley, Slightly Stoopid, classic hip hop artists and many more.
