Estrella Collective proudly presents at Moe’s Alley THE SERPENTINE SOLSTICE HAFLA, “A Sparkling Soirée” of professional and student dance performances including bellydance, burlesque, and fire dance!
Doors: 6 pm
Show: 7 pm–11pm
$25 in advance / $30 day of show
Dress: Formal, sparkling, sequens, heels, do it UP.

You are cordially invited to celebrate the darkest night of the year at our Serpentine Solstice Hafla, presented by Estrella Collective. A Hafla is a Middle Eastern celebration of life and we will celebrate with a dance performance showcase! The event will feature a variety of dance styles including belly dance, burlesque, Break dance, Samba, Ukrainian fusion, fire dance and much more. We will have a charming MC and a booty bouncin’ DJ for the dance party after the performances. There will also be jewelry vendors if your heart desires extra adornment and a Taro reader if you soul is searching to be transformed.
This will be a formal event. Why formal you ask?! Because it’s fun to dress up and our theme is “A Sparkling Soiree” to light up the night! We would love for you to wear those “clothes you never get to wear in Santa Cruz”. Think sequins, sparkles, heels, whatever. Let your clothes or costumes represent your bright, luminous soul! An enchanting prize awaits you if you win our best glittering dressed contest.
